Your gift brings the humanities to life throughout New Hampshire

Support projects that explore what it means to be a Granite Stater, an American, a citizen of the world, a lifelong learner. As an independent nonprofit, New Hampshire Humanities relies on your generosity!

Contributions from people like you - who know that opportunities to gather face-to-face with neighbors ignite ideas, evoke civic engagement, and nurture passion for discovery - are essential to our ability to deliver more than 500 free programs each year. With your support, we are able to serve Granite Staters from all walks of life and in every corner of our state. Please make a gift today!

Exeter High School student

When my salary was cut, I was unable to afford the cultural programs I used to go to elsewhere.
Instead, I have gone to many free, interesting programs at different libraries.
It makes for a great family event, too. They have enriched our lives.."

"I've been a sponsor, participant and beneficiary for nearly forty years,
and consider New Hampshire Humanities among the state's
most effective cultural institutions.”
